SheSkilled

Our SHEskilled project aims to develop a comprehensive upskilling program that combines training and job-coaching to motivate individuals facing challenging life circumstances to restart or enhance their careers. The initiative primarily focuses on women with a basic IT affinity, striving to address gender inequality and underrepresentation of women in the ICT sector. Additionally, the project targets women with migrant backgrounds to create an inclusive environment and empower them to overcome socio-economic difficulties and discrimination. We are conducting this specific project in collaboration with two educational organisations, SAMPEDRO Y TORRES COOP.V. from Spain and K. MILIOS & SIA OE from Greece.
The main objectives of the project include creating upskilling opportunities for migrant women in the IT sector, establishing a career change pathway for those interested in entering the ICT field, empowering underrepresented women in STEM for well-paid and future-oriented jobs, enhancing interpersonal skills of the target group, raising awareness among stakeholders, fostering European-level cooperation and idea exchange, and leveraging platforms like EPALE for virtual collaboration.
