Matrix

Our MATRIX project, titled „Strategic Mapping of Youth Unemployment,“ is dedicated to tackling the issue of youth unemployment and enhancing the employability skills of young individuals across partner countries within the European Union. This initiative aims to create a coordinated and comprehensive approach that encompasses labour market needs assessment, revitalizing vocational education and training (VET) institutions and educators, and providing an educational program focused on employability and entrepreneurship skills for young jobseekers.
The project’s key objectives include:
Developing Strategy and Roadmap: Establishing a cohesive strategy and roadmap to effectively address youth unemployment. This involves identifying specific talent requirements for various sectors and offering tailored training packages for VET schools.
Enhancing VET Quality and Attractiveness: Promoting the enhancement of quality and attractiveness within the VET system, with a strong emphasis on aligning education with job opportunities and employment prospects.
Skills Development Program: Designing and implementing a comprehensive skills development program that covers various domains. This program empowers young individuals to explore, train, and retrain themselves, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and competencies for both work and self-employment.
Global Competitiveness: Equipping young people with the appropriate skills and knowledge to not only excel within their own country but also to remain competitive on an international level.

We are conducting this specific project in collaboration with six educational organisations,
KMOP – EDUCATIONAND INNOVATION HUB from Greece, FUNDAÇÃO DE ENSINO PROFISSIONAL DA PRAIA DA VITÓRIA from Portugal, FUNDATIA PENTRU PROMOVAREA INTREPRINDERILOR MICI SI MIJLOCII BRASOV from Romania, CSI CENTER FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION LTD from Cyprus, STORYTELLME from Portugal and CESIE from Italy.
